Clinical skills, techniques of assessing the health of communities, evaluation of health services and development of effective approaches to health care are introduced progressively through the course. During the last three years, the students are assigned to participate in the work of clinical teams in the Muhammad Teaching Hospital.

Clinical methods are taught and demonstrated from the third year onward. The students practice skills by taking medical history, observing clinical phenomena and performing complete and accurate physical examination are essential requisites. Students learn about diseases through actively participating in patient diagnosis and investigations, clarifying concepts of pathos-physiological basis of the diseases. During the fourth year and fifth year, students are attached by the rotation in Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics , Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry.
